Adamantium Audio Dark Reference Premium is the flagship fabric in our Dark range. Its exceptionally dark and uniform surface delivers our deepest black and absorbs unwanted ambient and stray light with exceptional effectiveness.
Designed for demanding home cinema enthusiasts, it reduces distracting reflections and light returning to the screen, improving black levels, intra-scene contrast and perceived image depth.
In direct comparison, many conventional black fabrics such as stage molton appear visibly grey. Dark Reference Premium creates an exceptionally deep, uniform and refined black surface.

Areas surrounding the projection screen:
Ideal for wall, ceiling and frame surfaces immediately around the screen where maximum light absorption is required.
Curtains:
For exceptionally dark and flexible wall coverings or for concealing reflective surfaces.

For high-quality masking systems that create the clearest possible separation between the masked areas and the projected image.

Package contents and available sizes
Depending on the selected variant, the fabric is supplied as one continuous length. The minimum order size is 10 m × 1.40 m. For larger projects, a project package containing four separate fabric lengths of 10 m × 1.40 m each is also available.
Installation and handling
Dark Reference Premium is easy to cut, stretch and attach to suitable surfaces. For a clean and uniform installation, the fabric is highly suitable for use with our fabric mounting tracks.
Note on acoustic applications
Dark Reference Premium was developed to provide maximum light absorption and was not primarily designed to be acoustically transparent. For installation directly in front of loudspeakers, we recommend our acoustically transparent Adamantium Audio Invisible speaker fabric.
